Dan Langva - Instructor
While in the US Navy, Dan was lucky enough to have friends on the UDT team that taught many of them how to scuba dive. At that time they started an on-board ship “dive for fun” club, diving many places in the Far East.

His love for scuba continued after the service and he enrolled in a certification course with a dive shop in Minneapolis called Jack the Frogmen. We dove Lake Superior in wet suits - brrrrrrrr. What’s great about scuba, it’s a family sport that can be enjoyed by all. His two sons are both certified. He became a scuba diving instructor 10 years ago and his teaching assistant (his wife, Kathy) has been a divemaster for the last 10 years. They enjoy all diving experiences from the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Lake Superior wreck diving, and just fun diving in the many Minnesota lakes.

He believes in the slogan: “Good Divers are always learning”. The dive fun begins with the open water class, and continues with the many levels of certification that are offered by SDI and PADI training.
