Bonni was born in Excelsior, Minnesota. She grew up by the water but never thought in a million years that she would ever become a diver. Her diving interest came in July of 1997. It was almost a year before she could be convinced that shore support was really not a certification.
Bonni became a certified diver in 1998 and completed her Advanced Certification in 1999. Her specialties include boat, dry suit, deep, wreck etc. She is working on getting her rescue diver and her solo diver certification.
Bonni loves to travel. Her favorite place is suprisingly not by water. Her passion is the mountains of Wyoming. Having spent some time there when she was younger, she dreams of returning and diving in high altitude.
Bonni has traveled a great deal to the Caribbean. Their last trip was to Bonaire. Her other travels include, Cozumel, Aruba, Grand Cayman, Guanaja, Honduras, and the Arctic Circle. All these trips were unbelieveably awesome and she would go back to any one of them.
Bonni has a son who is also a certified diver. And she recently became a Grandmother.
